14 weeks | Sonograms and Emotional Breakdowns

Pregnancy Week 14 as of Friday, November 29, 2013

Baby about the size of a: Nectarine

Feeling: Had my first real emotional breakdown this week! I looked at the picture taken above and freaked a little about how much my tummy has grown! I know, I know that it is totally normal, but it just takes a bit of getting use to!

Excited about: Hopefully getting a Christmas tree soon! I can't wait to get one! It is special to share a tradition with the hubby that I know we will be eventually sharing with Baby!

Random thoughts: I, still, want a car! An SUV is definitely needed with a baby along the way! I am having problems with what to get my family for Christmas! They haven't made their Christmas lists yet, so I am a little nervous about last minute buying!

My One-hour Ultrasound Experience

Thursday, December 5th, we got to see our little precious babe for an hour!!! A college friend, Amanda Greenway Bright, invited us to come to her office at Options, Now in Valdosta to help one of her co-workers get some ultrasound/sonography training! They measured our little one and we had so much fun watching baby bounce around and suck it's thumb! We got to see the tiny hands and feet and even got some awesome ultrasound pictures to bring home! I enjoyed it so much and any chance to see baby is a blessing! Below are the pictures they gave us... they are a little blurry and hard to see because of the glossy paper it's printed on.

In the first picture, you can really see Baby's spine!

In the picture below, you can see Baby's hand with all five fingers!

Last picture you can definitely tell Baby is sucking it's thumb! Soooo cute!
