12 weeks | Olive Garden and Junior Woman's Club

Pregnancy Week 12 as of Friday, November 15, 2013

Baby about the size of a: a passion fruit

Feeling: Feeling wonderful! Not really as tired as I was, but I still like to go to bed at 9 pm :)

Excited about: A great week with some pretty awesome girls! Plus, the move Catching Fire is out in theaters! Ahhh!
Random thoughts: Why don't they give more ultrasounds? Women need to know that there baby is okay and maybe they want more pictures of their little one in the womb... just saying. Luckily, I may be getting a free one in Valdosta the first week of December! :) :)

Moultrie Junior Woman's Club

I must say that I was a little skeptic about joining Junior Women's, probably because you have to be asked to join and then voted on. I thought it was going to be like a sorority all over again. DON'T GET ME WRONG - I love my sorority and the awesome friends I have made. Plus, I was on board as Standards, so that tells you I loved being a part of Kappa Delta! (AOT)
I have come to find that any organization is whatever you make of it. This week I dove head first into two fun events, working at the Soup Kitchen and helping with a fundraiser called the Holiday Gala. I have worked the Soup Kitchen before and enjoyed serving and listening to the speaker, and this week I worked with a few girls to cover tables for the night. Picture of the group that volunteered below - sorry it's a little blurry it's from my phone!

Also, this week I hosted a table at the Holiday Gala with three amazing girls: Anslie Becton, Courtney Hamilton, and Dale Rickett. We had a Plantation theme, and it turned out wonderful! We served some of the sweetest guests and are thankful for their contribution to the Arts Center and for joining our table! Pictures are posted below! Anslie is such an artsy and crafty girl. Most of the decor is hers and for her Christmas tree this year! Courtney made the BEST blackberry cobbler! It was to die for. I am stealing the recipe! Dale was such an encourager ( I don't know if that's a word lol) and an awesome server! My serving skills were put to the test and though I wasn't perfect I had such a blast mingling and serving with the ladies! Pictures posted below!
