18 / 19 weeks | It's a BOY and A Happy New Year!

Pregnancy weeks 18 & 19
We were so  busy with the holidays that we didn't get around to taking a picture for my 18 weeks, so this one is counting as 18 & 19 :)


Excited about: I can't wait to register for our little boy this coming weekend.


Feeling: I am great! Back pain kicked in Monday and Tuesday, but the rest of the week I made it through pretty good!



Week 18 - Happy New Year

We had such an awesome time on New Year's Eve with two very special couples! The Haires ( Keith and Keri) and the Crosbys (Michael and Ashley)! Us girls spent the day laying around talking about mine and Ashley's pregnancies while the guys went golfing!  It was great spending time with these two couples because we don't get to see them very often! Our busy schedules make it hard to keep in touch! Posted below are pictures from the night... we ate at a place in Tallahassee called Bella Bella. It was pretty good! The girls had Shirley Temples (virgin, of course!) too much fun!

 

 

You're a boy - Week 19 - Sonogram Pictures

I wish you could have seen Jeff's face when he found out that we were having a boy! He literally lit up! :) The sonographer kept saying, "yeah, it's definitely a boy!" Haha. Posted pictures below from the ultrasound.  (COMING SOON)







I really REALLY wanted to have a Gender Reveal Party, but with family and friends living so far away that wasn't really possible. Plus, Jeff's parents were leaving for Iowa after we found out the good news and we wouldn't have been able to keep it quite that long. Okay... I would have, but Jeff was busting at the seems with pride for his Baby BOY!

Instead, we decided to do a little riddle for our family and friends. We posted it on Facebook and everyone joined in on the fun of guessing Baby Horne's gender! This is how we posted it----

"We really wanted to do a Gender Reveal Party, but our family and friends live near and far so to make the reveal a little more fun here is a riddle for everyone!"

The answer: Look at the first letter of each sentence! It spells out.. It's A Boy!

Surprises and such


I came home from the holiday break to a nice little surprise in the mail! Rosanne always knows how to brighten my day. I had so many doctor bills when I got back that when I opened hers it made everything so much better! :) Love that girl!

 

 

 

Another surprise I got in the mail this week was a card from Mandy asking me to be a bridesmaid! It's super cute and I am sooo excited for this chick! Her and Will are going to have an awesome wedding in Hilton Head! Can't wait for the celebrations to start!
