20 weeks | Halfway There!

Pregnancy: Week 20 as of Friday, January 10, 2014

 

Baby about the size of a:  banana!

Craving: I'm not really a big fan of eating chicken lately. Mostly, baby boy likes to have Chili and Spaghetti, which is crazy because I love eating chicken more than beef! Maybe he just loves deer meat like his Daddy! :)

Zaxby's and Taco Bell are always a favorite now days!


Clothes: Definitely wearing maternity pants and a few maternity tops. Maternity pants are a must but normal shirts fit just fine. Luckily, the maternity clothes are hand me downs from Brittany and Abby, two of my fantastic friends. They are letting me borrow them until they have more babies :)
 

 

Feeling: I've been feeling great! NO complaints :) I just hate how itchy my skin on my stomach has become. I know it's because my tummy is growing, but it itches so much!

 

 

 

Wednesday's Anatomy Scan

 

One of the sonographer's measured all of baby's parts! He is growing like a weed. I know I feel like I always say he is growing, but there is a total difference from one week to the next. Just last week or so we had an ultrasound and I can already tell how much he has changed! Around this time the average baby is about 9 - 10 oz. and the woman said our baby is about 15 oz.! He is such a big boy! :)

I did a little consignment browsing on Friday and found a cute blue North Face jacket size 3 - 6 months and I thought that would be perfect if Baby can use it for the fall! Well, being the frugal person that I am - I didn't get it. I thought about it all weekend and Mama told me I  needed to go back and get it and it probably wouldn't be there anymore. So, Monday I went by to check it out again and IT WAS STILL THERE! :)  Soooooo, I bought it and, also, got a cute Atlanta braves wind suit! Ahh love them both!

 

 

 

 

Last, but not least, let me show you how life is going around the Horne residence. Poor Jeff has to deal with my oh so crazy sleep habits lately - 500 pillows on the bed.. is that really too many??
