Junior Women Wear Red
There are so many things that we remember and celebrate in February like my birthday, President's Day, Valentine's Day, and many other little things among our family. Wearing RED this month is another way to remember and support American Heart Month and having a healthy, happy heart. Junior's decided to wear red in support of this important month and I am so glad I could be apart of such an awareness! What a great group of girls striving to make our community a better place! Don't stare too hard at how big my tummy is! haha
A day with Mom
I don't get many days when Mom and I just get to hang out without having a specific plan in mind. Well, I took off on President's Day to spend the day in Tallahassee hanging out and looking at baby stuff and just wasting time! Must admit that I really enjoyed the day with her and I am so lucky to have such an amazing and supportive mother. She really goes out of her way to make her children happy and continues to show selflessness through the smallest things.
When we went to Babies R Us I was a little tickled to see this sign (below) for parking! Don't you just love America! LOL

Days Off
Thursday I took the afternoon to myself. I laid by the pool in my maternity swimsuit and just enjoyed life in those few short hours. The sun felt amazing though I didn't get much of a tan on my skin! I starting reading this short book given to me by a co-worker about God being the vine dresser, Jesus being the vine, and us being the branches that bear fruit. Well, for some reason I had it in my head that bearing fruit meant bring people to Christ, but in reality it is just your actions that glorify our Lord. I really reminded me of the fruits of the spirit and what we as Christians should possess with Jesus in our heart and in our lives. Days like this really bring my heart warmth and happiness. They make me think of the things I am most thankful for and that I should show true appreciation for these things as much as I can and as often as possible.
Friday afternoon I took off of work a little early again to go with Jeff to the UGA/FSU baseball game in Tallahassee! We had a blast watching and listening to all the crazy fans and I enjoyed every second of Jeff explaining everything about the game and about the stats of the players. We got to see Jimbo Fisher from afar and laughed at all the fans that bothered him for pictures and autographs during the entire game. I think he had enough because he left a while before the game was over. Of course seeing Jameis Winston (Heisman winner and FSU quarterback) made Jeff's night! He only got to play once and Jeff hoped he would be able to pitch, but overall it was a great game even though FSU won! We are still definitely a house divided!
Baby's first Baby Shower ( Valdosta )
Goodness, I feel completely blessed by amazing friends and family! Sunday was our first baby shower for little Horne given by Mandy Lundquist, Rosanne Samples, and Emily Whitworth in Valdosta, GA. I got to see many people I haven't seen in a while and got some pretty amazing gifts to fill baby's room. Check out a few pictures from the shower here -
